Rehearsal Dinner - LeMont - A++ What a gorgeous place! The room was beautiful, the staff was very friendly, the food was outstanding, and the atmosphere was unmatched. Overall a wonderful place!
Wedding Hair - Van's Salon (Sewickley) - A+++++ The ladies at Van's are absolutely amazing. We had the whole salon the morning of our wedding and brought mimosa's, bagels, coffee etc - it was a blast! And all of the stylists are just fabulous! There were about 15 of us getting our hair done the AM of the wedding and every single up-do was perfect! Chelsea, my stylist, did a fantastic job on my hair and it looked exactly as I pictured it! :)
Wedding Makeup - Rachael Ryan - Ryan Makeup - A+++++++ I just adore Rachael. She is such a wonderful makeup artist and an overall amazingly sweet person. I had some last minute issues with my girls in the week leading up to the wedding and she was totally amazing and worked with me to put me at ease. She came to our house and did my makeup, my mom's makeup, and one of my bridesmaids and every one was perfect! I usually have issues with others doing my makup, but I'll tell you that never felt more beautiful than I did on my wedding day and that is 100% thanks to Rachael! She is AMAZING!
Florist - Carole & Laurie - Gida's Flowers - A++++++++++++++++++++ Seriously, I don't think there are enough pluses (is that a word?!? lol) for Carole and Laurie from Gida's. They went above and beyond to create the most amazingly perfect arrangements (and general service) for my wedding. I seriously can't say enough about these ladies and Gida's in general- Carole stayed all evening and made sure everything was exactly like I wanted. She went out of her way to order me tulle overlays for the tables (among other things) and seriously made my wedding the most beautiful I have ever seen! I seriously can't thank or praise these ladies enough!!
Photographers - The Brand Studio - A+++++++++ Sean and John are just fantastic. They captured the moments of our wedding and RD perfectly and were never in the way. I never felt rushed and am blown away with the photos they got in the short amount of time we had. We are in the process of designing the album and it is going to be AMAZING. They are wonderful!
Videographer - Nate Sherer - Sherer Video - A+ I only give them an A+ because I have not yet seen the video, but just know it will be amazing. They did the video for my brothers wedding and it turned out amazingly. They were very unassuming and I'm just sure they captured our day perfectly - I CAN'T wait to see the video!
Ceremony - St. Paul's Cathedral - A+++++++ Jean and the lovely people at St. Paul's were just amazing. The Cathedral is stunning beyond words and they really had everything under control! Overall, it was just perfect.
Reception - Carnegie Museum - Music Hall Foyer - A++++++++ I honestly have no words. The space is so incredibly beautiful and my guests were just floored. It was seriously the most perfect place we could have picked. Everyone in the event dept were fabulous and the evening was a dream.
DJ entertainment - Mark Zini - Zini Productions - A+++++++++++++++ Mark is just fantastic. He was very responsive to my emails and met with my mom and I the week of the wedding. He took into account all of our suggestions/requests and was just wonderful. I felt like I had zero stress on my wedding day because I knew he had everything under control. He kept the guests dancing all night and played music selections that appealed to all ages - which was very important to us! He also took the most beautiful photos and video at our wedding that he shared with me on FB. He is just the sweetest guy and I highly recommend him!
Catering - Parkhurst Dining (Carnegie works with them exclusively) A++++++++++ The food was out of this world. Guests were raving about the unique options we chose and the apps were amazing too. Everything was perfect!
Cake - Alice - Parkhurst Dining - A++++++++++++++++++++++ Honestly the most beautiful and delicious cake I ever seen and tasted. Alice was just lovely to work with and she took the image right out of my head and made it a reality. The cake was absolutely stunning and tasted even better than it looked.
Transportation - Lenzner Coach Line (Old Fashioned Trolley) - A++++++ I initially tried to contact Molly's Trolley's for our wedding transpiration and at that point, they were closing so we couldn't book them. So I called Lenzner because they were the only other place I could find in Pitt that had an old fashioned trolley. They certainly didn't disappoint. They were so easy to work with and our driver was just a doll. The trolley was just lovely and I couldn't be more pleased with the service. They are certainly a hidden gem! Those looking to rent a Trolley - definitely look into Lenzner!!! They were just fantastic.
Dress/Veil - Anne Gregory for the Bride - A+++++++ Gregory and his team were fantastic. They went out of their way for me multiple times and I couldn't be more thankful that he let me switch my order. My dress was absolutely perfect and I really felt like a princess! The alterations dept was amazing and the dress fit me like a glove. Everything was absolutely wonderful!
